As a Curly Girl, it&#8217;s better to wash your hair with a conditioner, CG shampoo, or a co-wash: short for conditioner wash, which is gentler on your hair and scalp.<\/span><\/p><p><span dir=\"auto\">You can use a conditioner for co-washing, but there are also special co-wash conditioners available. These contain more cleansing ingredients than a regular conditioner, but less than a shampoo. This means your hair will dry out less than if you were to use a shampoo with sulfates. Many Curly Girls\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kurlify.com\/curly-girl-methode\/co-washing\/\"><span dir=\"auto\">co-wash<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0with a CG-safe conditioner, while others use a true co-wash.
