Huh? De waarheid ligt gelukkig toch net wat anders, gek genoeg. \ud83d\ude09 Alcohol wordt onder andere aan shampoos en conditioners toegevoegd om ervoor te zorgen dat andere ingredi\u00ebnten beter de huid of het haar in kunnen dringen. Verder geeft het producten een lichter, frisser gevoel op de huid. Alcohol zorgt er bovendien voor dat het haar sneller opdroogt na een wasbeurt. Je komt alcohol meer tegen in cr\u00e8mes, serums en maskers dan in producten die een schuimend effect hebben.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"oswald\">Verschillende soorten alcohol<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Bepaalde alcoholsoorten laten het haar niet alleen sneller opdrogen, maar drogen het ook uit en veroorzaken <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kurlify.com\/krullen\/pluishaar\/\">pluizig haar<\/a>. Maar er zijn ook alcoholsoorten die juist als conditioner voor je haar fungeren, de zogenaamde <em>fatty <\/em>alcoholsoorten. Het is handig om te weten welke soorten alcohol er bestaan en hoe je ze herkent, zodat je voor jezelf goed kunt bepalen of een product voor jouw krullen geschikt is.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Hoe herken je de verschillende alcoholsoorten<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Je weet nu dat er goede (vette of <em>fatty<\/em>) en slechte (uitdrogende, <em>drying <\/em>of <em>short chain<\/em>) alcoholsoorten bestaan. Maar hoe herken je de verschillende soorten alcohol op de &#8211; over het algemeen onleesbare &#8211; etiketten van je favoriete haarproducten?<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Uitdrogende alcohol<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Uitdrogende alcoholsoorten zitten vaak in haarsprays of styling producten. Dat is met een reden, want zonder deze alcohol zou het bijvoorbeeld niet mogelijk zijn om haarlak uit het mondstuk te sprayen. Deze alcoholsoorten hebben de meeste uitdrogende aspecten. Ze zuigen het vocht of de hydratatie als het ware uit je haar. Je haar droogt daardoor uit, gaat pluizen en in sommige gevallen breekt het zelfs af. Dus als je gehydrateerde krullen wilt hebben, kun je deze alcoholsoorten het best vermijden, vooral als ze bovenaan in de ingredi\u00ebntenlijst staan. De bekendste slechte alcoholsoort is alcohol denat (<em>denatured alcohol<\/em>) of SD alcohol (SD alcohol 40). Deze soorten worden ook wel \u2018vette alcoholsoorten\u2019 genoemd, omdat ze afkomstig zijn uit vet (van kokosnoot en palm) en vocht vasthouden.\u00a0Ze werken als een emulgator, en zorgen ervoor dat water en olie gemixt kunnen worden. Deze soorten alcohol zorgen er ook voor dat conditioner het haar een zacht gevoel geeft en het makkelijk doorkambaar wordt. Ze helpen bij het toevoegen en vasthouden van <em>moisture<\/em>. Ze leggen een soort laagje over het haar, dat het verlies van vocht voorkomt. Sommige van deze alcohol soorten worden ook gebruikt om een product dikker te maken. Je komt de goede alcoholsoorten als volgt tegen:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\n<li>Behenyl alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Cetyl alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Cetearyl alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Myristyl alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Lauryl alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Propylene Glycol<\/li>\n<li>Stearyl alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Isocetyl alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Isostearyl alcohol<\/li>\n<li>C30-50 Alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Lanolin alcohol<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"oswald\">Lijst met CG-proof producten die geen of alleen goede alcoholsoorten bevatten<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Om het je zo gemakkelijk mogelijk te maken, stelden we een lijst samen met een aantal Curly Girl-vriendelijke producten die geen alcohol bevatten, of alleen de goede. Met deze lijst kun je op je gemakje de drogist in lopen en binnen vijf minuten weer buiten staan. Ook wel eens fijn! Dan kun je die producten in principe wel blijven gebruiken.
