Curl Keeper is a haircare brand specifically geared towards wavy, curly, and kinky hair. The brand wants all curly-haired individuals to be able to enjoy their beautiful curls. For these curly-haired individuals, the brand wants to offer products that always work. This means that their hair should look great even in bad weather. Which is great, considering the Netherlands experiences more bad weather than good!
Jonathan Torch plays a key role in the Curl Keeper story. He quickly discovered that pH balance plays a major role in developing hair products that prevent dry and frizzy curls. The perfect pH level is supposedly between 4.5 and 5.5. This level results in fantastic curls!
Does Curl Keeper work for my hair type?
Curl Keeper products are specifically designed for people with curly hair. But that doesn’t mean every curly girl or boy can use Curl Keeper hair products. It’s quite possible that someone with wavy or curly hair won’t get the same results as someone with frizzy hair. It’s important to know that some ingredients like shea butter, castor oil, and coconut oil can make a product heavy. If one of the first five ingredients on the list is a heavy oil, the product will be heavy and less suitable for wavy hair and some curly heads, but very suitable for people with frizzy hair, for example.

Curl Keeper hair products are made exclusively with ingredients curls love. It’s also good to know that Curl Keeper hair products are pH-balanced. This keeps hair healthy. The healthier your hair, the shinier and more manageable it is.
Curls are naturally very dry. Therefore, it’s not wise for curly girls/boys to use products from brands that contain ingredients that dry out and make hair frizzy, such as parabens, silicones, and sulfates.
